Embrace All The Pain and Live Happily Ever After

About

The work of Lenna Arty is filled with positive words. It is always about peace and love, kindness, self-love, diversity and sprinkled with humor. She started painting since she was devastated by the number of young suicide due to bullying in school in her country. Day after day, she creates in hope that her art can deliver optimistic messages to more range of people. She was also bullied and heavily injured when she was in middle school. She is thankful each day that she is alive and can paint. This is why her work that she calls “Colorful Poetry” is relentlessly colorful and positive. She is self-taught in art yet her background as a certified Japanese calligraphy master always affects her method and styles such as her enthusiasm for brushstrokes and shapes and the minimalist composition between her motifs and blank space.

She loves hearing what collectors see from her paintings with their own sensitivities. Her works held at The Mirage Hotel (Las Vegas, NV, USA), Four Seasons Hotel Austin (Austin, TX, USA), The Westin (Philadelphia, PA, USA), Springhill Suites by Marriott (Atlanta, GA, USA), sold at MuséeNational des beaux-arts du Québec (Quebec, Canada) and Musée d‘Art de Joliette (Quebec, Canada) and held in private collections in the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, France, Germany, Netherlands, Finland, Sweden, Poland, Singapore to name a few.

"Multicolored fruits and odd-shaped plants convey that all of us are different and unique and we even hold plural different selves—colors and shapes—within us therefore addressing somebody different is meaningless and bullying is nonsense."
